Pros

The website provides lots of features. Customer support has always been great as well.

Cons

The website is definitely a bit busy. There is so much content on most pages that it is sometimes difficult to hone in on what you want to do on a given page.

The vast amount of business information provided makes it easy to research stocks.

Cons

I am very pleased with the website; however, the app can be a little clunky.

Pros

Very easy to get started and use since it is very intuitive.

Cons

Better charting features such as candlestick charts with moving averages.

Pros

There are a plethora of research options. It is easy to maintain your account, and has external apps.

Cons

The homepage is a bit cluttered. I wish it had the capability of allowing a financial advisor access.

Sawandi S ๐Ÿ‘

Pros

I like the fact that it updates often and I can pull it up on my phone easily. I also like the ease of access to navigate around the website.

Cons

The fee is kind of high to purchase stocks, which can cut into the amount of stock you're able to purchase.

Pros

Easy to do research, and the way you can customize the profile page is nice.

Cons

Takes too long to transfer money from my bank: sometimes itโ€™s a day, whereas sometimes it takes four to five days.

Pros

The trade commissions arenโ€™t the lowest among discount brokerage firms. But it offers value to both beginner investors and frequent traders with a library of educational resources, and an easy-to-navigate trading platform.

Cons

You need a minimum of $500 to open an account on E*TRADE, so lower fees and also reduced amount of direct deposit to open the account would make the offer more enticing.

Pros

eTrade is a perfectly good platform for executing trades and managing an account.

Cons

People who work on Wall Street, who make trading their career, do ok overall. The ones that have vastly less experience and knowledge of the markets than those people will be competing against them in the market. I want there to be a way for the less experienced to feel less threatened to the ones with higher status.

Pros

Easy navigation. Good customer service when needed. Representatives are very helpful.

Cons

The initial customer interface could have more features readily available. Faster loading times would also be good.

Pros

Iโ€™m still new to E*TRADE. My accounts used to be with capitol one but they are no longer in the brokerage business and sold to E*TRADE.

Cons

Everything seems ok for now - too early to really make a judgment about this.
